Are
Texas Rustlers Small Animal Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of abandoned, neglected and abused guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small animals in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, area and beyond.
How We
Assist
We provide advice, support, and funds and/or supplies when necessary and possible, to future and current guinea pig and rabbit owners so as to encourage a lifelong commitment to those animals. When this is not possible, the rescue will, when resources allow, assist in the placement of any guinea pig, rabbit, or other small animal into other suitable accommodation. We offer a home for life to any animal that enters our organization when a suitable permanent home is unavailable.
How We
Educate
The organization is also committed to ending the cycle of neglect and abuse by providing quality education and resources on proper guinea pig and rabbit care and by generating public awareness as to the root causes of the problem.
