(Put Piggy in a safe place like a playpen while cleaning cage.)

Start with a dirty cage Roll up bedding and newspaper lining. Throw away
Sweep up remaining bedding Spray with a solution of 50% white vinegar & 50% water and wipe dry Put at least 4 layers of newspaper down (overlapping slightly) all over cage
Add fresh bedding (aspen or carefresh) Spread to form an even layer 2-3 inches deep Replace cage accessories

Add piggy and voila'

Notes: vinegar is a piggy safe, cheap disinfectant that really removes urine deposits in the cage.
